ABOUT
ABOUT ME!
Well, this seems to be the ABOUT page. Most people
have it, right? I was never sure if I really need an ABOUT
page if the main topic is photography.
You can easily
fiqure out, that it has something to do with photos, pictures
and photography. For all of those still reading: This site is
all about my passion called PHOTOGRAPHY.
Wow, that was
really easy. Whenever I see something interesting I capture it
in a nice picture. The moment of whatever. You will like some
of my pictures, at least this is my assumption. Those pictures
you do not like... hey, it's called ART. I take pictures for
over 20 years now. I know that this is not a guarantee for
quality, but I like it. And this is what counts...ENJOY!
PICTURE LOCATIONS
I take pictures all over the
world. On the Flash version of olafernst.com, you can explore all the
locations I've been so far. Even though there are a lot of
flags pinned to the planet, there are regions I've never been
so far. If you know a great "Must-Be" place, it would be
wonderful, if you could send me a quick note.
THIS
WEBSITE
This is a
website coded entirely HTML and
PHP
. My main page is Flash only.
I started with a plain HTML site and shortly moved on to Joomla
which I really like. After a while I found out, that
a flash based website is the best for my
project. The disadvantage of Flash in regards to search engines wasn't really
an issue for me. Even though using a template it
took me weeks to customize and code everything to the
current version. Music is available but disabled per default, bacause I want
to have the user full control of the music option. I
hope you enjoy it.

Whether you run a business in
advertisement, webdesign or any other kind of art related
business, you don't have to spend big license fees any more to
get a picture for your needs. My stock
photography project is still growing. Whenever I have some

worked with a lot of differnt models so far. Most of them do have a

WHAT I AM LOOKING
FOR
I am a photography enthusiast. This is important to
know, because photography is nothing I do for living. I've been
into photography for over 20 years and I have taught myself how
to get the best results. I started working with female nude models in
2007. Even though I workd for quite some time with different model,
I still work on my portfolio. Although I am not a professional
photographer does not mean any lack of professionalism. In general I
am always interested in:
- Tasteful Nudes
- Lingerie
- Swimwear
- Portraits
LOCATIONS
I normally shoot in a fully equipped studio.
The advantage is that I have all the lightning and a very
comfortable environment. The biggest disadvantage of a studio is
that it is just a room. No furniture, no interesting natural
lighting no nothing. Therefore I am more interested in other
locations like:
- Beaches
- Hotels / Motels
- Thrift Stores
- Old Buildings
or any other location which inspire both the model and the
photographer for most interesting results.
PAID OR TFP
Too
make it short. Normally I hire models who offer paid jobs and have
experience. The only reason for that is that experienced models can
easily convert my ideas into action. But if you want to built up or
enhance your portfolio and like the idea that it is a learning
experience for both of us I am more than happy to do this job.
